Bethan Wyn Jones was brought up on the Talwrn, Anglesey, and she received her education from Y Pentref Primary School. One of her earlier memories is when she would go for a walk after lunch on a Sunday afternoon holding her father's hand and he would show her flowers and birds and teach her the names of them. She discusses different aspects of Nature weekly in the Herald Cymraeg and other Magazines. She's published a number of popular books which include Bwrw Blwyddyn, Blodau Gwyllt, Natur y Flwyddyn, the Doctor Dail series and Llyfr Natur Iolo in partnership with Iolo Williams.
