Author Biography:
Wiliam Owen Roberts was born and raised in Garndolbenmaen. He was a student at Aberystwyth University between 1978 and 1981 and graduated in Welsh Literature and Theatre Studies. He then settled in Cardiff and became a full-time writer in 1989. Wil is a prolific author who writes for radio, television and theatre, but he's best known as a novelist. He has already published Bingo (1985), Y Pla (1987), Paradwys (2001) and Petrograd (2008). Petrograd won the Wales Book of the Year Award in 2009.
