Author Biography:
Ceri Wyn Jones was born in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, before moving to west Wales and was educated in Cilgerran, Cardigan and Aberystwyth. He won the Chair at the National Eisteddfod in 1997 and in 2014 and the Crown in 2009. He was an English teacher at Ysgol Gyfun Dyffryn Teifi for over 12 years and was the Children's Bard for Wales (Bardd Plant Cymru) between 2004-5. As well as his Welsh book for children, Dwli o Ddifri, he has also contributed to many anthologies for children, including Ar Hyd y Flwyddyn, Gwlad y Dreigiau and Byd Llawn Hud. He lives in Cardigan with his family and is editor for English language books for adults at Gomer Press.
Originally from Neath, Adrian Reynolds lives in Cambridge and has won the Red House Picture Book Award and Sheffield Children's Book Award. Having studied at Swansea and Cambridge art colleges, Adrian worked at Heffers bookshop before writing and illustrating his own picture books. Adrian’s first books were published in 1997 and since then he has published around 100 books for children – including the extremely popular Harry and the Dinosaurs series with author Ian Whybrow. He is also the illustrator to many other popular titles such as Big Red Bath, Big Blue Train and If We Had a Sailboat.
